Description

Finding her light on a Vaudeville Stage.
The dress is by Nathy, titled Faery Dream, available on Renderosity. It's only useable in Poser, since you need the Cloth Room to be able to drape it. It's a Dynamic dress.

This is a beautiful image. The more I look at it, the more I like it.

I love the pose and expression. The tilt of her head and the smile are just perfect. This woman is full of charisma and strong personality and she truly shines here. Her movement is very realistic and dynamic and the image has managed to catch her in mid-swing, thus creating a truly 4-dimensional look: it's impossible to look at this image and not imagine her full turn before and after this frame - Bravo!

I also love the rich colors and how her skin and hair look - very natural and well lit.

It also great that you have chosen dynamic cloth for her dress - the realistic folds help the overall natural look and enhance the movement.

I like the idea of the spotlight, but I am not completely in love with it's angle and focus. Right now it illuminates mostly her skirt, and, being a bit behind her already, it somewhat diminishes the effect of her stepping into it. I do wish to have the light shine on her more from above (not giving so much attention to the right-side curtain on it's way to the character) and to see her stepping into it at the time when it would fall on the lower part of her face - to feel that the next moment she will open her eyes into the light and the music will start. This image is almost there, a few seconds before that moment, which is a bit of a tease, but then again, it is about finding the light, so her not being quite there yet works well with the title.

On another minor note, the shadow being dropped on the right-side curtain slightly throws the perspective off. Unless you intended it to, it should be easily fixable.

I also find the color choices very interesting: minimalistic, yet very effective.

The composition is a bit tight on the vertical, but together with the curtain lines leading to her head, it works well to center the attention on the figure despite the heavy dominance of red on the sides, which could have otherwise been distractive.

It's an amazing image and very impressive work. Well done!
